Another flashback to Cali. I still can't forget that perfect 80 degree west coast winter weather. This is from when we took a day trip to Santa Barbara and then ventured on to the little mini Dutch town of Solvang. These photos were snapped right before the sun went down (the magic hour), and the mood in the air was fantastic. Solvang is a little more elevated than the rest of its surrounding areas, and it made for an epic and lengthy sunset view. My mom got me these pants for Christmas. She knows my taste exactly. I snagged up this cardigan for only $14 at Burlington Coat Factory of all places. It reminded me of Chanel, so of course I couldn't help myself.

I didn't end up going to NYC last weekend or the weekend we just had, but rather chose to stay put for some fun and relaxation time in Philly. But I'll be in NYC this upcoming weekend and the next for some fashion week madness. I miss the Big Apple. It's been over a month since my last trip there, and I think it's about time for a little escape. February is going to be one crazy month. I have a lot in store and a to-do list that runs about the circumference of earth. Let's see if I can do it.

One of my casual, everyday looks . . . kicked up a notch with a rad pair of shoes. I never thought I could pull off a red pair of platform boots with a chunky heel. But I give everything a chance once, and let's just say that I am officially head over heels. These babies by Kork-Ease give the Litas a run for their money. They are super lightweight and extremely easy to walk in (Kork-Ease . . . get it??); thus, they are the perfect street stomping foot decorators.

It's been pretty darn cold here in Philly (um, hello, it snowed on Sunday), and I'm prepped with my extra puffy puffer jacket, but I still keep on reaching for my cargo jacket in the morning and layering like a mad woman underneath it. Cargo and I have severe separation anxiety issues. It's kind of a problem. Attempting to find a way to do something about it, but coming up empty handed. Thank goodness cargo goes with just about everything. Makes heading out the door in the morning a flawless ordeal. Well, nearly.

Perfume sampler by Harvey Prince. A different scent for each of my moods. Right now I am using Eau de Creme. It is perfectly sweet and subtly seductive.

Two glamorous and decked out pieces from Martine Wester London. I totally see myself saving this necklace for a very special dinner, but dressing it down with a cargo jacket (like I always do). And the bracelet fits right in amongst my collection of friendship bracelets.

The perfect night-out-on-the-town pillbox clutch by TRUVOW. I'm definitely a casual girl at heart, but I love to get dressed up and feel sparkly every once in a while. And I can wear it cross body style when I decide to get crazy on the dance floor (which is nearly every time).

This leopard coat is priceless. A classic piece I know I'll keep wearing forever.

Finding a streamlined coat that doesn't feel too boring can be a hard thing to do. It's either a little too this or a little too that. Lucky for me, I was able to strike a perfect balance between too boring and too showy with this BCBG piece. I love how deep of a forest green it is and how it looks even more earthy and warm when paired with my maroon scarf. I like colors that when worn together makes me think of a woodsy scent. Fashion that touches all senses.

It's finally Thursday. I'm so ready for the weekend to be here (that is basically me every week). Going out with friends, then making my way to NYC Saturday night for a little escape.

I found these pictures from last NYFW and they made me kind of miss wearing hats. I feel like ever since I've chopped my hair off, I've been wearing head toppers less and less. And hey, this includes us. What would happen to our little online community of inspiration and fashion enthusiasm if these two bills were to go through? How would I make it through an entire work day without my favorite tunes blasting through my headphones thanks to Youtube? With Wikipedia no more, no longer would I be able to effortlessly get a quick little lesson on ancient Indonesian culture, the ingredients in Vietnamese noodle soups, or whatever else that randomly comes to mind (yeah, I Wikipedia about food a lot). We've all worked too hard and shared too much to let this happen.

The wind and chill was over the top this day. Surprised that I survived walking all around the city in these wedge platforms without freezing to death. Despite the cold, it was a beautiful, crystal clear morning. The city was definitely not fully awake just yet, so the streets were still quite still. It's amazing to see the city slow down just a bit, even if it doesn't last that long. I'm really into stripes right now. I own way too many striped tops and sweaters I can't even count them all. Always good for a day when you are not feeling the urge to put too much thought into your look. They always look so good against a good neutral hue, it's almost kind of ridiculous.

It just turned winter, it's incredibly cold, and the snow hasn't even arrived yet, but my brain can't help bust fast forward to spring and summer. Already I am longing for those warm, summer days that last forever. I lust for a sun-kissed tan and long highlighted locks. I dream of bumming around on the beach with not another care in the world. I crave the feeling of dancing my butt off at a concert in the park in only a tank top and shorts. I would do anything to run in the grass without my shoes on. Maybe it's all the samples of spring/summer clothes that I look at every single day at work that makes me feel this way already. Or it may be the fact that I am going back to California for Coachella in April. Yes, that is definitely influencing my sun-deprived head. Whatever the reason, spring needs to get here pronto. Don't get me wrong, I love winter with all my heart and all the pretty little layers I get to pile on each and every day because of it, but still nothing beats a never ending summer day.

Just another day at work day. I work in a fashion-forward, creative environment, so everyone basically gets to wear whatever they want to the office. I always have so much fun getting dressed up for work. I kind of keep an idea of what I want to wear in my head right before I go to bed, then throw it all together in the morning. My outfit ideas usually start off with a certain color combination that is interesting to me, and I take it from there. I was in a deep navy mood this day, but I wanted to feel sparkly and festive, as well. Thank goodness for my metallic cardigan. It never lets me down. And neither do polka dots. I'm taking a break from my usual friendship bracelets and random conglomeration of things on my wrist. Been keeping my wrists bare lately and reach for one statement piece at a time, like this watch that looks like a real Rolex but isn't a real Rolex because I paid $1 for it at a garage sale. Hey, that's fashion.

I still have so many pictures from my holiday back in Cali (it's kind of crazy), but I am slowly making my way through them for you guys (sorry, life is pretty busy). The one thing I was looking forward to the most about going back to Cali was getting back on my bike and riding it on the boardwalk. My sister and I took our bikes out for a ride from Santa Monica to Venice a few times. Cruising around the beach use to be our weekend norm. There is seriously no better feeling than being on a bike, going as fast or as slow as you want, having no real particular place to go, and just be totally content with the sun, ocean view, and limitless miles of boardwalk in front of you. Meditative and seriously the best work out you can get. I made sure to get on my bike as much as I could in Cali. Ever since I moved to Philly, I haven't biked anywhere. It was just walking and the subway for me, which is funny since Philly is such a bike-oriented city. But I plan on getting one come springtime so I can bring my Cali groove to my new east coast home. Even though the thought of bike riding in Philly traffic scares the heck out of me, I'll try my hand at it. Then I'll just have to find a cute helmet to go with it. And look at me with my tights on. Transitioning from the cold Philly weather to a summer-like environment still couldn't make me take my tights off. The east coast changes things about you for sure.

I felt like my denim collection needed a face lift, so I went out seeking the best denim out there (that also wasn't going to break the bank). After trying on just one pair of Urban Outfitter's BDG high rise jeans, I knew that I needed them in more than one color. The fit is perfect, the rise is the made-for-me length, and they never stretch out. I can wear them for days. After going high rise, there ain't no going back. I just think the fit so much more flattering on me than other styles. I even just got these babies in a sweet leopard print that you guys will see soon.

It's Sunday morning, I'm in my comfy bed listening to Fleet Foxes Pandora station as I recover from last night, and it's just about time for brunch at my favorite bagel place in the city. Enjoy your Sunday before it's back to the grind people!

My mom is a pro cook. During my stay back home, she made me one of my favorite Malaysian-inspired dishes that is definitely her signature. Her take on the Malaysian curry mee soup is mind blowing. She grew up in Malaysia, so a lot of her cooking is influenced from there. Though this soup is extremely simple to make, its intense use of exotic spices makes one think otherwise. It's a dish where the flavor really does all of the talking. I love it with a hard boiled egg thrown in. I'm still in the process of perfecting my mom's way of cooking this. Once I get it down, I'll make it for all of my friends. Dude, I'm getting myself hungry again. Makes me want to go back to Southeast Asia again and eat the real thing. What else is new?

Spent the first day of the year with my wonderful friends in Santa Monica, my former California stomping ground. We woke up sleepy headed after a night celebrating on New Year's Eve with friends and champagne in West LA. I felt like I was back in college and it was great. The weather yesterday was so amazing that I felt the need to bust out the shorts bare legged. I know that once I get back to Philadelphia I won't be able to do so for probably another 4 months. I can't think of a better way to have spent the the end of 2011 and beginning of 2012. With friends, a beach view, and warm Cali sunshine. I will be jumping on a plane later today to head back to Philadelphia. I will have my family there to send me off. Even though I'm going to miss my parents and my friends back in Cali, I can't wait to get back to life in Philadelphia. My parting from California is going to be bittersweet to the core, but I am so thankful that my home on the west coast always welcomes me back with open arms. I feel very lucky indeed.

It's almost 2012 everyone! How crazy was 2011? This past year was so life-changing . . . so amazing. I moved to the east coast to work for one of the most awesome brands in fashion. I went to my first NYFW. I met so many out of this world, crazy cool people who I am so proud to call my best friends. I celebrated nearly over 2 years of blogging. Best of all, I had the support of my family, friends, and all of you the entire way along. But I know that 2012 is going to be even more kick ass. I feel it in my bones. I have a few more things up my sleeve that I still want to roll on out. Get ready for it.

My friend Cheryl, Natalie, and I stumbled upon this dried up corn field near Cheryl's house the weekend after Thanksgiving. The day was so warm and beautiful, and this field was too stunning to not take pictures in. Been living in this pair of cozy leggings from Free People. Gotta love a repeating reindeer print. Heck yeah.

Hope you all are having an amazing holiday. I'm so grateful to be back home with my family, even if it is just for a short period of time. We took a wonderfully long bike ride, cooked and ate our hearts out, laughed like there was no tomorrow, watched a few of my favorite movies, and listened to classic rock music (my dad and I totally brought back to life Jimi Hendrix in a day). I couldn't have asked for a more perfect Christmas day. Looking forward to a day bike riding on the beach boardwalk. Ready to get back into my Cali groove!

I'm finally back home in California for the holidays and I couldn't be happier. It sure doesn't feel like I've been away for nearly 8 months. Getting back into my Cali routine feels easier than ever. I gotta make the next 10 days last forever. I can't believe tomorrow is already Christmas Day. Time is flashing by my eyes. Going to finish up some last minute Christmas shopping today at the mall (oh how I have missed you mall), grab a coffee out, pick up some things from COSTCO to make dessert with (COSTCO is my jam), and have dinner at one of my favorite places back home. Life is feeling super simple and super sweet right now.

I've never been obsessed with a sweater more than I am with this one. I picked it up at our company's sample sale about a month ago. The fit is perfect. The colors are sublime. It's vintage. What more could one ask for out of a sweater? Nada. The best thing of all is that it looks really good with a deep plum lip.

I'm jumping on a plane tomorrow to head to California for a much needed mini vacation. I've got my suitcase ready full of gifts and 9 days worth of clothes. I tried to pack key items that I could also rework into other outfits, to save room, but I am not sure I did that rad of a job. Still, I could have done much worse. As long as my suitcase doesn't weigh over 50 pounds, I am all good.

Little known fact: I've been listening to Glee's version of Fun's We Are Young like an overly obsessive freakazoid. Nobody does repeat better than this girl. But here is another song of the day that will lift your spirits, I promise:

Busting out the metallic and leather at the same time always sounds like a good idea. Speaking of metallic, I wore my glittery sheer black tights out dancing this weekend with friends, and I haven't felt better. As you all know, I love my 80%20 shoes and my collection keeps growing and growing. The Rina Boot from CALICO keeps me on my feet day and night. I have them in black, too. Can't get enough. Throwing a leather jacket on top of everything is just the icing on the cake.

I have a crazy week ahead of me, trying to get as much work done during my day job before I jump on a plane this Friday to go home for the holidays. I can't wait. I haven't even started packing, but I promise to get on that tonight. Punch me if I don't. Going back to Cali for about a good 10 days is going to be so refreshing. I'm looking forward so much to seeing my family again. I think I may just cry from happiness. I'm going to make the most of my time on the west coast and soak it all in. Definitely excited to get back to my old stomping ground of Santa Monica and ride up and down the boardwalk. As well as chill around my lazy suburban hometown. And eat my mom's home cooking. And watch cable. And play the piano. And take a hike. And all those things I haven't gotten the chance to really do in the city. It is going to be WONDERFUL.

Hello! Feels like it's been forevaaaaaaaa. Here's another quick episode of The Outfit. Seems like it was ages ago that I wore this. Probably because it was ages ago. I'm finally officially moved into my new house. My room is fab and the lighting is beautiful in the morning. There are still things in boxes and I have yet to put back together my Ikea bed frame, but it feels good to be settled down in a cool new place. We are waiting for Internet to be installed, so I'm chilling at the awesome coffee shop just around the block. The walls are covered with vintage records.

My sister is in town this weekend to help me get my stuff together in my new place. We went out last night with friends to Old City for First Fridays, when all the art galleries open up to the public. One of my coworkers had an art show going on and it was great to be there and see a ton of peeps from work. Then we ended the night at one of my favorite bars in that part of town. Definitely a night worth repeating.

Sorry, I feel like I've abandoned the blog for forever, but really it was just for the Thanksgiving weekend. My sister came into town the day after Thanksgiving and we chilled in the suburbs and had an all around rad time chilling on the couch consumed by the wonders of cable, and frolicking around the local mall where they were giving out free cups of bad-ass coffee. We even made our way into central New Jersey for a show. Oh, how I miss suburban living. I also spent all day Sunday moving nearly everything out of my apartment into my new home. It was basically a nightmare (my futon was stuck at the corner of the staircase for a good half hour before I finally took the thing apart with a wrench), but we did it in the end and all is happy and good.

Here are some pictures from another day out with my Philly giiiiiiiiiiirlssssssss Kristina, Naomi, and Cheryl (in order of appearance). Gosh, I love them all so much! And my dear little Abigail. She is my friend Naomi's dog and she is the most loveable little pup in the world. And best of all . . . she loves me!

At one point during this day we moved onto the topic of personalities, and Kristina said that we were all "frivolous and chill" at the same time. Frivolous as in erratic, spur-of-the-moment, and all around cray cray, but still able to keep our cool at all times. I'm from California. I'm a professional chiller. But I will not lie. I can have my frivolous days as much as the next one. Come on people. Embrace your frivolity and overall coolness. Just be. Yeah man.

Hope you all had a rocking Thanksgiving! I had my fill of classic holiday dishes and treats, so I'm all good. Ended Thanksgiving night with late night movies on cable (Nowhere Boy and Serendipity . . . gosh, John Cusack, is so dreamy). It was a perfect night. I won't be heading to the mall today for Black Friday because of work, but my sister is coming into town later today and I can't wait to chill with her and hear about her trip to Israel.

Here are some pictures taken a few weekends ago, smack dab in the middle of fall. I was inspired by the colors of autumn this day, as you can tell. Liquid golds, warm browns, hints of yellow and orange. It is all so dreamy to me. Throwing a little leopard in for good measure is just me being me. You know I can't help busting out a little animal print every now and then. Say hey to Kim. Kim is such an awesome girl and one of my very first Philly friends. We are both so busy that we don't really get to see each other that often even though we both live so close to each other. But when we do get together, it is an event for sure.

How rad does Ruby Aldrige look in the latest Free People look book for holiday? I love this girl's signature grin. Too good. Makes me want to buy everything right off her back. The perfect mix of grunge and sophistication.

It's been raining like cray cray this whole week so far. Hopefully it clears up in time for Thanksgiving! We had only a half day at work today, so my friend and I chilled afterwards with the best Bloody Mary in town and are now catching up on work outside of work at our fave coffee shop (which is currently playing the best classic rock tunes ever). We plan on partying up a storm tonight before heading to my friend's hometown in the morning to spend Thanksgiving with her family. This will be my first Thanksgiving away from home and my family back in California. I'm a bit sad about this fact, and I am totally going to miss my mom's special holiday stuffing, but I am excited all the same to stay right here in Philadelphia and go all out.

What a weekend. Saturday morning started off on a crazy foot at our company's sample sale. Sample sales are always a stressful ordeal, but I came out with some pretty rad pieces and a bunch of yummy smelling candles. We then went on to the best bagel place in Center City and ate our little hearts out. We spent this morning scarfing down granola and leftover bagels while watching The Girl Next Door (so goooood) and trying to remember the details of the wildly fun night out prior (a night which ended with us eating macaroni and cheese and sweet potato fries at 3 AM). I am back in my apartment this Sunday afternoon in my pajamas recovering. I don't think I laughed as much as I did last night ever before. Get us girls together and we cray cray.

Soon, I am going to need to start thinking about packing up everything in my apartment for my big move into my friend's house in another part of the city. Finally, I will have room for everything and a bad-ass amount of kitchen space. Oh, and finally a back and front yard!! I never really got a chance to decorate my studio since I've moved in, but once I get more space, I'm going to put my all into making it feel like a real home. I'm looking forward to this so much.

At the moment, Natalie is on her way to Israel, and I have to say that I am totally jealous. But can't wait for this girl to get back because I miss her face!

Two weekends ago, I photographed my sister for her Volcom Fall '12 design collaboration lookbook in NYC. We ended this long day of shooting on The Brooklyn Bridge. Beforehand, we were unable to catch a cab, and were shocked and stunned at the same time that we actually were able to make it in the end by foot and subway. Perfect timing for the sky was beautiful beyond belief. And shout out to our super cool director friend Car Nazzal, who shot video footage of our shoot and is working on putting together an amazing video to document it all. I know the result of this shoot is going to be magic. Can't wait to see it.

And be prepared to see A LOT more of this scarf in future posts on the blog. I wear it basically every day. It's my favorite Free People purchase so far.

After a terrible allergy-ridden past few days, I am now feeling a lot better. To celebrate, I am going to go see one of my favorite British bands, The Kooks, play tonight! Hope you all had a splendid and relaxing weekend. Mine started off amazingly well. Movies, dinner, and drinks with friends. I even took a hiking trip with my friend Kristina at Fairmount Park on Friday. The most scenic day ever in Philly. Breathtaking. Crisp. Perfect. I could go on and on and on. The only thing is . . . I ended up developing some sort of hideous allergic reaction right after our hike, and it didn't fully hit me until the day after. Poison ivy, poison sumac, poison something! This has never happened to me before, and all I can tell you right now is that it is THE WORST. It got so bad that I had to take the day off from work today to recover, which I hate doing! Just waiting for it all to go away so I can worry about more important things! Grrrrrr.

I love the heck out of the rooftop view from my sister's apartment building in Manhattan. You can escape everything and be apart of everything way up there. I feel so lucky that I am so close to NYC and get to visit whenever I want. I probably won't be heading back there until next month, but that's okay because there are too many amazing things to fill my time right here in Philly! Thank goodness I have the most amazing friends around me to feed me yummy dinners after work, let me watch their cable, and keep me laughing 24/7. Life pretty much rocks now that I think about it. The weekend is finally here and I can't wait to just sit back and relax. I need to hit up some vintage/thrift shops. The fall trend capsule meeting we had at work yesterday was so amazing. It has inspired me to run out and buy a bunch of vintage shrunken pullover sweaters to sew my own faux collars on. Surrrriouslyyyy the best idea I had all week! They had a whole gunge display going on, and all I can think about is distressed denim, leather, and plaid. I love that I work at one of the most inspiring fashion brands ever. Makes me proud to go to work every single day.

I have a million things on my to-do list on the moment, but there just doesn't seem to be enough time to get to do them all (even the most simple of things, like pick up a new tube of toothpaste). I'm surprised a lot of the times that I am even able to update this blog as regularly as I do. With work, my social life, and everything else I try to take on in-between, I can sometimes be left feeling burnt out. But in the end, I know that I love being busy and working on projects that keep my creative juices flowing. I wouldn't have it any other way. I always like to say, let's bring on the next thing and see where we can take it. How is that to start your Monday off?

Okay, back to fashion. Coats, coats, and coats. Back in Cali, I never had a real reason to wear a coat. Last December, there was a week that I was literally in shorts and sunbathing in my front yard everyday. Today, I'm basically shivering in my boots. But I love that I now can wear a coat because the weather persists on it, and not just because I want to (even though this reason is just as legit). The retro pattern on this one leaves me head over heels. I could live in it all year long if I could. I just picked up my first real winter coat yesterday. I gave in and got myself a down puffer jacket because I know I will die without one once December rolls around. Come on winter, bring on everything you got. I'm ready for ya. I think.

Going to NYC this weekend to celebrate my sister's 21st bday!!! We are also working together on a special creative project that I am very excited about. And it involves me being behind the camera. Perfect timing, too, since I just got my new lens and I am so ready to shooting with it!

Did any of you guys dress up for Halloween? I made myself a DIY tutu, tied a piece of sequin fabric around my waist, threw on my leather jacket and Docs and called myself a punk rock ballerina. I came up with the idea about 5 minutes before running out the door to get to Kim's birthday/Halloween bash. I think it worked out pretty well.

These pictures are from a few weekends ago in NYC. Lazy days roaming the streets watching kids play basketball near Chinatown, picking up falafel pitas at the place across the street, flipping through the bestsellers at the bookshop, finding a new little restaurant that becomes our next go-to spot. Doing things on a whim are always the best way to go the weekend.

What I love most about Philadelphia is all the different places you can visit within walking distance, and they are all so completely different from each other. Whether is be Center City, Washington Square West, Old City, Fishtown, Northern Liberties, South Philly, or West Philly, you can be sure to quickly get to know a particular stamp that defines each that makes it special. Here I am out and about in the cool and hip Northern Liberties. It's so quiet and quaint here on the weekends. Always a good restaurant to eat at, a cool bar at the corner, and a fashionable person walking down the street. This up and coming part of the city is one of my favorite places. When it comes to Philly overall, I really have come to love the diverse set of textures and colors I see just walking down the block. Old school red brick brownstones, rusty metal chain link fences, and beaten up graffiti filled walls like this are a feast for the eyes. Philly is a place that never looks boring. That is always something to count on.

Sometimes I feel like I am too busy with my life here in Philly to really stop and miss California. But really, deep down inside, I know that I really do miss this place all the way on the other side of the country. It's where I was born. It's where I was raised. It will always be dear to my heart. I miss it so much that I already have my plane ticket booked for December. I'm going home for a week to spend time with my family and friends during Christmas. I am too excited for words! I haven't been in California since the beginning of May. It's about time I look forward to endless miles of highways, outdoor shopping centers, bike rides on the boardwalk, summer in December weather, and those jaw droppingly stunning sunsets. Even if it's just for a little while. California's slow pace and the peaceful parts of my sleepy suburban town in the valley is going to be a nice little break from my hectic life here on the east coast. See you soon Cali. It's been too long.

This past weekend was kind of amazing. I got to catch up with my favorite people in Philly, helped my friend shop for picture frames at a random flea market, found out that the most rocking Philly cheesesteak sandwich is at the IKEA food court, did some shopping in the city (including finding the most awesome cargo jacket at Target of all places), watched Dumb and Dumber and got officially hooked on The Walking Dead. I'm all revved up for this work week leading up to another weekend full of Halloween celebrations, including my friend Kim's birthday shindig (it looks like some fashion bloggers are going to be in town). And Natalie is coming down to celebrate, as well! I still need to come up with costumes, go pumpkin and apple picking, and all that good old fall festivity fluff. I love anything cheesy. You know me.

I've worn these red pants so many times before, but I haven't yet shown them on the blog. They are prone to stopping traffic, but that's why I like them. Legs was my nickname in junior high school. I was the tallest girl on dance team. And I could definitely kick the highest. Hey, if you got flaunt it.

I never find myself bored in the East Village whenever I spend a weekend there. Too many places to eat, we can walk to just about everywhere, our friends are always close by, people watching is spectacular, cute boys work at the ice cream shop next door to her apartment. What is there not to like? And easy weekend dressing in the city makes it all that much better. It was so nice spending a super slow weekend with my sister last time. I watched so much television . . . I think I broke a record (excuse me, but I have been without cable for 6 long months). I also slept a lot (though still it most definitely was not enough). Getting to spend quality time with my sister was lovely as well. We don't have to do much to have have the best time together. And no matter what, we are always laughing. That girl seriously reads my mind, it's crazy. Hey sis, you're my best friend forever, for suuuuuuuuure. I don't know what I'd do without you.

I'm back in the city this weekend for some meetings and catch ups with friends. It's gonna be rad. Oh, and just to let you know, I basically LIVE in these Dr. Martens. Serious my go-to shoe right here.

Hopefully we can all work together to find a cure for this disease that steals away thousands of people each year. Philly is a great place to live if you are into food and like to eat lots of it. Everywhere you go, there is sure to be a restaurant ready to fill your deepest cravings. Honeys in Northern Liberties is one of these sort of places. It's a cute little place on the corner that is known for its Jewish delights and well-rounded menu including lots of delectable vegetarian options. I stopped by with my sister and friends for lunch during my birthday weekend. I was desperately in the mood for a good old fashioned burger and of course, that is what I got. It was perfect. Gosh, food looks so amazing in pictures. Makes me question why I have a fashion blog instead of a food blog. Oh well. If you are ever in Philly, make sure to stop by this place. It's well worth the hour long wait on the weekends.

Finally, another NYFW post. This is what I wore to the Honor show at Lincoln Center. After the show I quickly rushed to TopShop in Soho where Natalie was hosting an event. I was in a menswear sort of mood, so I busted out my favorite mustard trousers and go-to oxfords. The weather was pretty warm in NYC that weekend, so a sheer top was the smartest choice. There is nothing more refreshing than dressing like yourself at one of the biggest weeks in the fashion industry and feeling totally confident. I met so many awesome new people that week, as well as old friends. It was an unforgettable experience. You can be sure to see me around the next NYFW, as well!

So, my birthday weekend was a total success! Non stop fun from Friday to Sunday. The highlight of it all was starting our very own tabletop dancing rave party at our favorite dance venue. It was one wild night. Everyone I know and love came out . . . it was too perfect! And thanks for all your lovely birthday wishes! You are all too sweet!

Stunning evening out around Rittenhouse Square a few weeks ago. Seriously one of the most magical places in Philly when the sun goes down. City vibe to the max with people eating extravagant dinners on the sidewalks, browsing the shops, and walking their dogs.

This is my favorite denim jacket. I've had it since high school and I don't see myself getting rid of it anytime soon. It's been through my punk kid phase, my preppy phase, my wanna-be hipster phase, my I-don't-have-anything-to-wear phase. The denim is so soft and perfect.
